At SLATE our volunteers are at the heart of our organisation and play a major role as part of our teams

Do you know an adult with a learning disability who may be interested in finding out more about SLATE?

SLATE's volunteers are a wide range of ages and have a mixed level of abilities. Activities at our shops, warehouse, cafes and on out vans are tailored to each volunteer's individual needs and SLATE offers support to reach agreed goals.

SLATE has a progression route to paid work for individuals with learning disabilities, a diverse training programme and an active diary of social occasions for the whole team outside working hours.
